Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to use transcendinghealth.net, learn about our services and book care with us, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.

Our goal

We aim for our website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people with a wide range of disabilities. We treat them as an ongoing goal, not a one-time project.

What we do

• Add descriptive alt text to meaningful images.
• Use clear headings so pages are easy to scan and navigate with a screen reader.
• Offer a skip link so keyboard users can jump straight to the main content.
• Label form fields so assistive technology can read them.
• Write in plain language with short paragraphs.
• Check color contrast and text size on new pages.
• Review pages when we update them and fix problems we find.

Known limits

Some parts of our site rely on outside services that we do not control. These include our online booking calendar from Mindbody and our consultation booking widget from LeadConnector. We choose providers with care, but we cannot guarantee that every third-party tool fully meets accessibility standards. Some older pages and images may also not yet meet every guideline. We are working through them.

If any part of the site is hard to use, you can always book or ask a question by phone at (434) 465-2905. We are open Monday through Friday from 9am to 7pm and Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 6pm.

Visiting the clinic

Our clinic is at 1445 Rio Road East, Suite 201 F, Charlottesville, VA 22901, with free parking. If you have questions about getting to the clinic or need an accommodation during your visit, please call before your appointment and we will do our best to help.

Feedback and help

If you run into a barrier on our website, please tell us. Let us know the page address, what you were trying to do and what assistive technology you use, if any. We will work to fix the problem and to get you the information or service you need in another way in the meantime.
